Juliette (Patricia Clarkson) finds herself alone in Cairo, awaiting the arrival of her husband. While she waits, her husband's friend, retired cop Tareq (Alexander Siddig), does her the courtesy of showing her around the city. As they spend more and more time together, Juliette and Tareq find themselves falling for one another. They quickly find themselves wrapped up in an affair, almost without knowing how they got themselves into it. Will Juliette and Tareq get themselves figured out and stop their relationship before Juliette's husband comes to Cairo and catches them, or will they decide that their relationship is worth the risk?
