“Sex and Lies in Sin City” is a true story about romance between Ted Binion (Matthew Bodine), owner of the Horseshoe Casino and Las Vegas stripper Sandy Murphy (Mena Suvari). Binion’is involved with drugs and is a heroin user that is caught up in deception and mob connections. The affair ends when Binion succumbs to a suspicious overdose that the police have called a homicide. Binion’s devoted sister Becky (Marcia Gay-Harden) attempts to keep the case going; while Sandy and her lover (Johnathon Schaech) attempt to prove that they are innocent of the murder. Was Binion’s death a murder or was it an raccidental drug overdose?
