Magicians is a British movie released in 2007. The story begins with Harry (David Mitchell) and Karl ( Robert Webb) as partner magicians. Harry’s wife Carol, is the lovely assistant. Unfortunately for Harry, Carol (Sarah Hadland) seems to have eyes for Karl. They begin to have an affair until they are discovered by Harry while in the magicians box. The three agree to carry on with the next show. However, during the grand finale, the guillotine trick, Carol loses her head. Both friends feel terrible guilt and part ways. Fast forward to four years. Harry has continues his magician act and Karl, is now working for a hardware store. One day Karl sees a flyer for a magician competition and decides he must return to magic and enter the contest. The movie continues with the antics both experience as they compete for the prize of 20,000 pounds.
